Marisa is a dedicated reproductive justice advocate and educator who works to break down barriers to gender-affirming, reproductive health care. She is the Co-Executive Director for Collective Power for Reproductive Justice, in addition to chair of the board for the Abortion Rights Fund of Western Mass, and Vice Chair of the board for URGE. Marisa’s community work includes working with Empty Arms Bereavement Support as a hospital support companion for people and their families experiencing pregnancy and infant loss, and she co-founded and co-organizes DARLA, an abortion doula collective that trains doulas and supports Massachusetts residents and visitors.
