Collective Power 2025 takes place April 5-6. Please fill out this form to have your proposal considered to present at the conference.
We are accepting proposal submissions until November 1, 2024.
About proposal submissions:
Proposals can include traditional formats, like workshops and panel discussions. We are also accepting proposals for sessions that encompass arts-based and creative practices, e.g. somatics, breath work, mindfulness, meditation, yoga, and more. If you have questions about the format of your proposal, please contact Conference Program Manager, Brooke Huguley at brooke@collectivepowerrj.org.
We welcome speakers to hold space on a variety of urgent topics. Examples include transformative justice, abolition, abortion rights, contraception access, human rights, social justice, racial justice, immigrant rights, economic justice, LGBTQIA2S+ rights, youth advocacy, sex worker rights, environmental justice, disability justice, and more.
For your participation in the weekend as a presenter, we offer a $250 honorarium. This honorarium is in addition to providing travel, lodging, childcare, and meals.

- Collective Power confirms accepted workshop proposals – November 14, 2024
- At this time, each accepted presenter will receive their own link to register for the conference. This registration form is how we collect necessary info to arrange your travel and pay honoraria; your timely response is immensely helpful as we coordinate these details!
- Deadline to complete the presenter registration form – January 16, 2025
- New this year: Presenter orientation call – January 2025, date TBD
- General registration for attendees opens – January 2025
- Final date to submit changes to proposal title, description, or presenter names – February 21, 2025
- Collective Power Conference – April 5-6, 2025
- Deadline to submit reimbursement requests – April 30, 2025
- Honoraria will be paid via direct deposit – mid-May, 2025
