Asia (she/her) is a rising junior at Spelman College studying Comparative Women’s Studies with a concentration in women’s health. She is from Vicksburg, MS, and prides herself on being from the Deep South. Asia is passionate about abortion access, menstrual equity, and birth outcomes for Black birthing people. Asia is an ambassador for The Pad Project, a Next Generation Leadership Institute Fellow for In Our Own Voice: Black Women’s Reproductive Justice Agenda, and the co-founder of 601 for Period Equity, a grassroots organization fighting period poverty in marginalized communities.
