Brenae supports Collective Power for Reproductive Justice’s daily work and long-term sustainability through her role as Development Associate. She is a pre-med student and identifies as a queer Black woman. Her navigation and understanding of these identities compelled her to write her Division III about the barriers that pre-med students of color face throughout their undergraduate careers. Brenae recently received her Bachelor’s of Art from Hampshire College and will be a general surgeon in the future. She is very excited about her work with Collective Power for Reproductive Justice and looks forward to expanding her knowledge of Reproductive Justice.
