Challenging Population Control, a program of Collective Power for Reproductive Justice, is a leader in the feminist resistance to population control and “overpopulation” politics. At Challenging Population Control, we actively uproot the harmful legacy of population control by: ● Exposing how the legacies of population control and eugenics actively undermine reproductive, environmental and climate justice today. We do this through conducting research, publishing feminist analyses, giving talks and workshops, facilitating collective advocacy, and developing teaching tools. ● Serving as a hub for progressive critiques of and collective resistance to population control and “overpopulation” politics. We convene groups of scholar/activists, lead collective advocacy work, and share ideas and resources. ● Connecting US-based reproductive justice issues and activism with international population politics and social justice struggles.
