Jayleen is a rising senior at Davidson College majoring in Gender and Sexuality Studies. She was born and raised in Lawrence, Massachusetts, a predominantly low income and Latino community. Jayleen’s interest in labor rights and reproductive justice have been shaped by her upbringing in Lawrence and the issues currently facing her community. In the future Jayleen hopes to provide both midwife and doula services to low income women.
