Mezekerta Tesfay is an Ethiopian-American woman who was raised in Iowa. Currently, she is a senior at Beloit College in Wisconsin, majoring in Sociology and minoring in Political Science, while providing support to Collective Power’s communication projects. This past summer, she interned with Janes Due Process, helping young Texans get access to reproductive health care services and judicial bypass to secure their right to an abortion. She is passionate about abortion justice, anti-racism, and using digital media to aid in the movements for both.
