Symone is a graduate of Mount Holyoke College in South Hadley, Massachusetts. During her time in the Pioneer Valley, she worked extensively with Collective Power for Reproductive Justice, serving as a Reproductive Rights Activist Service Corps member, interning in the Collective Power office, and working as a Collective Power student group member and conference coordinator. Since graduation, Symone has worked as a full-spectrum doula with The Doula Project in NYC. She also serves on the organization’s Leadership Circle as the External Partnerships Coordinator. Additionally, she works full-time in fundraising/development at a national reproductive health organization. She envisions the advisory board supporting Collective Power’s efforts to amplify their incredible work while engaging new donors and supporters nationwide. Symone sincerely looks forward to celebrating Collective Power’s 40th anniversary.
