Conference Registration

Our annual activist conference, Collective Power 2023 will be held on April 15, 2023. It takes place on the Hampshire College campus, located at 893 West Street in Amherst, Massachusetts.

If you are a conference speaker, please use the separate registration link supplied to you via email, which captures presenter-specific information.

Do I need to register in advance?

Yes! All participants must register in advance. Advance registration allows us to plan for adequate food and accommodate accessibility needs.

Online registration ends on April 7th, 2023 at 11:59pm or when we reach capacity. Register now to reserve your place!

If you need ASL interpretation, have other access needs, or need on-site childcare, please register before March 15th.

Creating Conference Community

Please help us to diminish access barriers at the conference and continue to work and build with us so that the conference is more accessible to more people each year.

Please be smoke- and fragrance-free to the extent that you are able to, so that beloved community members with chemical sensitivities can attend the conference. You can learn more about the importance of and how to be fragrance free here

Registration levels

We believe in offering our conference to everyone, regardless of their ability to pay. Your registration fee goes directly to supporting conference costs. While the Collective Power conference takes place at Hampshire, we raise the funds for all conference costs, including speaker travel, participant meals and childcare, and personnel. Any amount contributed is graciously appreciated and utilized. Please give as generously as you are able, and know that you are welcome here regardless of your ability to pay.

Sustainer – $300+

By registering at this level, you cover your own costs for the programming, including meals, childcare, accessibility, and all of the staff and student time that goes into producing this event.

Organization – $300+

Please register at this level if your organization, institution, or college/university is covering your registration fee.

Supporter – $125-$299

By registering at this level, you offset some of your own costs for the programming, meals, and childcare.

Sliding Scale – $15-$124

This level is subsidized for activists, advocates, and others who aren’t able to pay the Sustainer rate. Please consider what the conference means for you and your education, activism, or work, and pay what you can.

Movement-Builder – $0

We welcome everyone’s participation in the conference. No one will be turned away for lack of funds. If you are unable to contribute to your registration cost, you are still welcome to attend.

All students may attend the conference for free, and are welcome to give if able.

If you are registering as one of the participants included in sponsorship benefits, please use the $0 Movement Builder option and look for the question below that asks you to indicate which sponsoring organization you are affiliated with.

If you can’t attend, please consider making a donation that brings someone else to our conference.

Support for Children and Families


There will not be onsite childcare during the conference this year. Instead, for those with dependent care costs, we are offering a Family Care Stipend to help make the space accessible for families.

Covid-19 Safety Measures

COVID-19 Safety Measures


As our event is held on the campus of Hampshire College, we will follow their COVID-19 policies and safety measures, intended with care for the most vulnerable among us. This includes that masks are required in indoor events open to the public, and we are requiring attendees to show proof of vaccination against COVID-19, unless they qualify for religious or medical exemption.

In addition, we will have antigen (rapid) COVID-19 tests available for attendees to self-administer when you arrive, or if you have access to a test at home you can choose to take one in advance. We ask participants not to attend if you are experiencing COVID-19 symptoms, even if you have negative results on an antigen test.

We can refund any registration fees if you need to cancel because of COVID-19; to do so please contact info@collectivepowerrj.org
