Khiari Neal is a third year Sociology major, African American Studies minor at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). As a first gen, low income, Black-woman from Oakland, California Khiari has used her admiration for social justice and community advocacy to navigate her Black womanhood in all social spaces. Reproductive Justice for Khiari is a sense of home, belonging, and resistance. On her journey towards upward mobility, she plans on using the knowledge gained from this experience as a reinforcement of her love for social justice and as well as a ladder to pursue a career in Civil Rights Litigation.
