About

Mia oversees the strategic interaction among program activities, fundraising, communications, evaluation, and planning work. She has primary responsibility for creating and managing Collective Power for Reproductive Justice’s strategic external relationships. Mia previously worked as a staff attorney on a wide range of anti-poverty and civil rights cases and campaigns at legal services organizations in Massachusetts and Michigan, engaging in litigation, legislative and administrative advocacy, and community organizing. Mia is a graduate of New York University School of Law. She was one of the inaugural Rockwood Reproductive Health, Rights, and Justice fellows. She is on the board of Advocates for Youth, and has served on the board of the National Women’s Health Network, the strategic planning committees for Take Root: Red State Perspectives on Reproductive Justice and SisterSong Women of Color Reproductive Justice Collective, and the Legacy Council of Third Wave Fund.
