I am a first-generation, third-year student at UC San Diego and have lived in SoCal my whole life! My efforts and time have been focused on student advocacy work, cultural awareness projects, and political organizing. I am motivated by my beautiful immigrant family and the Afghan chai that keeps me functioning. I’m currently working on sewing my own clothes and learning to live sustainably.
