Tyra is the Student Conference Committee Coordinator for Collective Power, she works under the guidance of Collective Power’s Conference and Campus Programs Manager. Tyra works to build relationships and networks with students, staff, and faculty within the Five College Consortium and local community of Pioneer Valley, and assist with conference events logitisics. Tyra is currently a student at Amherst College pursing a B.A in Black Studies coupled with a Reproductive Health, Rights, and Justice Certificate; she has a deep interest in BIPOC birthworkers historical relationship with the U.S Empire and a passion for Black Feminist Theory.
